On the Dec 24th, 2016, the construction commencement ceremony of Wuhu rail transit line 1 and line 2 (Phase I) was held in Mengxi Road, Jiujiang Distract, Wuhu. CEC is the general contractor of the design and survey work for these 2 lines, and Wuhu becomes the first city which takes the monorail system as the trunk urban mass transit network, this means the first Chinese straddle type monorail transit system project has landed formally, and acquired the key breakthrough in the medium city. It will make the model for the rail transit development.
